Colinkz is a comprehensive event planning and ticketing platform that empowers event organizers to seamlessly create, plan, and manage their events. The tool provides a range of essential features, including budgeting, checklists, timelines, venue selection, and vendor collaboration, all in one place.
Role:
At Colinkz, our design team consists of three skilled designers and a project lead. As a UI/UX designer, my role involved leading research, creating smart strategies, and designing creative solutions for both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) user experiences. I focused on designing responsive landing pages and user-friendly dashboards to make information easy to access. Additionally, I worked closely with our development team to ensure our shared vision was implemented smoothly and effectively.
Research:
User Research: Understand the target audience through methods like surveys, interviews, and user personas. Identify user needs, goals, and pain points.
Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors' products and user experiences to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Subsequently, we develop user personas by conducting in-depth research, which encompasses surveys, interviews, and data analysis. These personas serve as a guiding compass, aiding our teams in making user-centric decisions and crafting products that align with the needs and expectations of our target audience.
Planning:
Project Scope: Define the project's goals, objectives, and constraints.
Information Architecture: Create a structure for content and navigation that aligns with user needs and business goals.
Ideation:
Sketching and Wireframing: Create rough sketches and wireframes to visualize layout and content placement.
Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes that represent the user flow and functionality of the product.
